Well, it seems that moment has finally arrived, and to mark the occasion, EKAL Activity Center at Mill Falls is officially opening this weekend with an array of ways to get out and enjoy the lake!

EKAL is a full-service activity center in Meredith, NH, offering rentals, gear, and instruction for kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, and stand up paddleboards (SUP). This weekend, the center opens its doors and brings out its full fleet of boats, and is now open every weekend. NH Farm Museum Celebrates the Season with Spring Farm Day

produceNow that flowers are blooming, the air is warm, and folks are planting their gardens, it seems that spring has finally settled in! In honor of the season, the New Hampshire Farm Museum will be holding a Spring Farm Day celebration, where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty and simplicity of life on the farm and celebrate spring the old-fashioned way!

This Saturday, May 18th, from 10am – 4pm, the museum will open its garden gates for its annual Spring Farm Day Market, Plant Sale & Farm Day Activities. The Spring Market, which is open to the public free of charge from 10am – 2pm, will feature homemade crafts, plants, baked goods, and an organic seedling sale. Spring Farm Day events include historic farmhouse tours, horse-drawn wagon rides, gardening activities, farm tours, wool spinning, and demonstrations of traditional crafts. Kids can make a paper pot and plant a seed to take home, as well as help plant the museum’s Children’s Garden. Meredith’s 18th Annual Community Yard Sale Next Weekend

The whole village is coming together to hold their Annual Community Yard Sale, and antique enthusiasts, collectors, and bargain hunters from all over New England will be setting their destinations for this little lakeside village.

Sponsored by the Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce, the 18th Annual Community Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 18th from 9 am – 3 pm at over fifty locations in the Meredith area.
