It’s time for the feel-good event of the year—Kidworks Learning Center is once again teaming up with Mill Falls at the Lake, along with CruCon and Meredith Village Savings Bank, to bring the Meredith community a night of comedy and fun to benefit the children of Kidworks.
On Friday, April 18th, nationally renowned comedian Juston McKinney will perform at Church Landing as part of the Comedy Night fundraising event. This is the fourth year Kidworks is setting the comedy stage as its annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the event will go towards improving the Kidworks Learning Center facility and future programs. This year’s fundraiser starts with a cash bar at 7 pm, followed by an 8 pm comedy show.
Juston McKinney is a Maine Deputy Sheriff turned comedian. He grew up on the border of New Hampshire and Maine, and after being hired as a Deputy Sheriff, Juston was assigned to patrol that same border. Juston brings his perspective on the idiosyncrasies of this special part of New England to his comedy shows. He has also appeared in many TV shows and films, including The King of Queens, The Zoo Keeper, and Here Comes the Boom. He is currently developing his web series “Hosed” into a full-length feature film. Juston now lives in New Hampshire with his wife, kids, and dogs!
Tickets to Kidworks Comedy Night are $25 per person and include a dinner coupon for a buy one entrée, receive the second one at half price, valid that night at Lakehouse, Camp, Lago, Mame’s, or Giuseppe’s. Tickets can be purchased at the Meredith Mobil Station (across from the Town Docks) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If they haven’t sold out by then, tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event. Mill Falls is offering special guest-room rates for that night, too! Guests can stay at Church Landing for $159, or at the Inn at Mill Falls for only $99. Rates are based on double occupancy. Call 800-622-6455 to reserve your room!
