Looking to get out and be inspired with the colors of spring and possibly find new treasures for your garden and home? This weekend’s Spring Craft Fair is a great way to start the new season with fresh, creative ideas, and is the precursor to a fun year of arts events ahead in the Lakes Region!
The Lakes Region Spring Craft Fair takes place this Saturday, March 29th, 10 – 4, and Sunday March 30th, 10 – 3, at Opechee Conference Center in Laconia, NH. This is a juried arts and crafts fair hosting a variety of exhibits, including spring floral arrangements, bird houses, garden decor, glass art, fine jewelry, wooden crafts, wood turned pens, 3-D glass globes, quilts and other fabric items, wearable art, soft sculpture, soy candles, personalized crafts, photography, folk art, country decorations, paintings, gourmet foods, and much more!
The NH Humane Society of Laconia will also have a table at the Craft Fair, where they will be raffling off several gift baskets created and assembled by the organization’s wonderful volunteers. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Humane Society to benefit the many animals in need.
So come on out and support local artisans while enjoying a glimpse of the spring that is about to blossom. Admission to the Spring Craft Fair is free, and the Opechee Conference Center is handicapped accessible. Hope to see you there!
